The Church of St. Mary the Virgin Stansted.

The small size of the existing early 14th Century church did not provide the facilities required by a modern parish. A scheme was developed to provide a linked extension containing toilet, kitchen and meeting room facilities which became known as ‘The Cloisters’.
We worked in close collaboration with the local planning authority, English Heritage and other conservation groups to produce a design which would complement the historic setting. The works were completed in 2018.
