A simple scheme to reorder the west end of a C19 parish church, to provide modern facilities, toilet, beverage kitchen and social space. The insertion is designed as a single, articulated piece, following the detailing and materials of the earlier organ enclosure, to sit as a piece of furniture within the gothic interior, in order to retain the original character and fabric. The works were carried out by B W May contractors in conjunction with Brooks Building Consultants.
